What a lovely condo that met all of our needs. We love the location of this complex and Kam 1 beach. Also enjoyed exploring other areas of the island we missed last time we were in Maui. Our stay was too short but looking forward to our holiday here in February 2024.

This condo is perfectly located near one of the best beaches in South Kihei, near great restaurants, small shops, and a good commute location to the rest of the Island. It’s location at the end of a dead end street make it very quiet.
Condo: well stocked kitchen, and has all items needed for a day at the beach. No air con but fans were adequate. Comfy couches and bed. Nice to have washer and dryer.
Condo facilities: largest pool in Kihei!! Hot tub. Sauna, Tennis courts, gas barbecue grill that we used a lot. Clean, well kept grounds, very secure.
Again the best thing is the location. Walk to Kamaole I in 3 minutes. We watched a lot of sunsets!! Beautiful!

Relaxing lanai with view of the ocean. Completely equipped for all beach (only 500 feet away) activities. Very comfortable condo for up to 4 people. Very close to a variety of eating establishments and an organic grocery.

We had a lovely stay at the Alii Kai – the unit was clean and very well equipped. As the unit is located in C building, it remained cool in the afternoons allowing us to sit on the lanai and enjoy the Hawaiian air.

Thanks for such a great stay! This was literally seconds from the beach and some great Kihei restaurants /shopping. I wish my apartment in SF was this nice. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a Maui getaway.

Wow, thanks so much Heather and Scott. What a great condo. The location was excellent and the condo so well stocked. We had dinner on the lanai most nights and it was just a dream. The unit is very quiet as we are early risers, we never had a problem with noise. Thanks again Heather and Scott.

My wife, toddler, and I travelled to Scott and Heathers place in Kihei in October of 2014. The owners were very responsive and provided easy to follow instructions. The condo was in a convenient location, only about 5 mins to the beach (Kamole beach 2). The beach was great; not crowded at all. We went in the morning and often had a large portion just for ourselves. The owners have a good supply of beach chairs, bags, cooler bags, a beach umbrella, toys, and other gear that we could bring down with us. We went almost every day.
The condo was super kid friendly as they had a fold up crib, booster seat with table, and toys. There was a good selection of restaurants nearby. Maui taco’s was awesome, a must try is Da Kitchen, so is Cinnamon Roll Place. All are a brief walk away. So are food trucks and groceries. The drive to Costco was only 25 mins so we made a couple trips there to stock up. It was also nice to use one of the provided bbq’s next to the pool for dinner.
The only thing that would have made it better would have been air conditioning. We happened to visit when there were no trade winds for a few days and it got hot. And keep in mind, there are a couple half flights of stairs to get to the condo from either side of the unit as the building is built on a hillside.
Otherwise, it was an excellent vacation rental and we enjoyed our time on Maui.

We stayed at this condo August 2013 and have nothing but fantastic things to say about our stay. The condo itself had everything you could think of to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The location itself was brilliant as Kihei is so central on Maui making every destination feasible to get to. A five minute walk and we enjoyed every sunset on Kam 1. Pool, bbq’s, and hottub were excellent. The entire complex was very well maintained and spotless. We will be back….. just counting the days!

This is a lovely condo, conveniently located near beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils and the Lanai is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast. During our stay we used the boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels that were available with the rental; a great convenience. The owners are very nice and responsive. Be aware there are some stairs to get to the condo and no air conditioning. We were gone each day from mid-morning until bed-time and the provided fans and open bedroom window and Lanai door kept us comfortable. While we did not get a chance to use the swimming pool or grills, they are conveniently located and look great. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental to friends and family.

My family stayed in this beautiful condo and we were so impressed with everything about it. Heather and Scott fully stocked it from kitchen utensils and pots/pans, to condiments along with tons of beach stuff to keep our kids entertained, even had board games the kids enjoyed after their nightly swim. Their condo was sooo clean and we found the binder they had very useful for their recommendations on great restaurants, and activities so it saved us from hunting around for it. 808 Deli…amazing!! Peggy Sue’s Diner…best milkshakes ever. Heather was such a pleasure to deal with and made everything so easy for us since it was our first time to Maui… We will definitely be back and will for sure be booking with them again….

Fully stocked condo with everything you will need for your Kihei vacation. We loved the Kihei area, did not need to rent a car, everything within walking distance if you want to avoid a car rental cost, local bus handy. 20 minute walk for groceries and farmer’s market with lots of deli’s and restaurants close by. We brought our back packs to transport groceries. Lovely long walks on the beach from Kamaole 1 all the way to Wailea if you so desire. Beach yoga nearby, saw a whale one morning showing off for the 75 minute class.
The Stewart’s are wonderfully accommodating and made it easy and enjoyable. Mahalo!

First time in Maui. Great central location in Kihei. We loved everything about this condo. Came with all the beach gear (chairs, snorkel, towel, coolers and more) and provided nice relaxing place to recharge at night. If you a couple or a family with young ones, we highly recommend this unit. As for the owner, the transactions and the communications were breeze and trouble free. Great condo loaded with all the beach toys you will need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Location is awesome, right across the street from Kam I beach, easy drive to many other beaches. The condo is what it looks like in the photos and is well maintained. Owners were very helpful with questions we had.
Best breakfast hands down, Kihei Cafe!! don’t let long line scare you, once you order, your food is on the table before your second sip of coffee!!

We very much enjoyed our time in unit C204 of the Kihei Alii Kai. The description of the condo is accurate; and we were amazed at how well stocked it is – including with many of the most popular beach ‘toys’ (snorkel gear, boogie boards, insulated cooler, ice packs, beach chairs, towels, etc). The lanai with its beautiful view of the ocean provided a perfect tropical setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The Kihei Alii Kai complex is located in central Kihei – far enough back from South Kihei Road that we did not hear any traffic but close enough to make an easy walk to nearby beaches (Kamaole 1 is a short 3 minute walk away!) and shopping areas, including a couple of fine restaurants located in the Rainbow Mall (Maui Thai Restaurant – yummy and relatively inexpensive; Café O’Lei – prime rib you won’t soon forget).
We hope to return in future and would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone for a memorable vacation on the magical island of Maui.

Just wanted to say thanks to Heather and Scott for a wonderful vacation and much needed rest. The location of this unit is ideal. The free parking was very handy as we did decide to rent a car. The unit itself is stocked beyond what I have expereinced in previous travels. There is really nothing you need to think of to make your stay a memorable one. Heather’s and Scott’s condominium is a great place to stay for anyone. The listing and photos are accurate, and Heather and Scott are very responsive and helpful. If you have kids (or if you don’t), the condo already has everything you will need: cooking and eating essentials, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach towels and chairs. Kihei Alii Kai is in a perfect location, just off the main road and a 3 minute walk to a perfect, swimmable beach. Once you get there, if you plan to stay in Kihei, you almost don’t need a car.

We had a lovely holiday. Thank you so much for the use of your condo! It was easy to find, very clean and well-stocked. The central location was perfect for us and many an evening was spent admiring the view or taking a walk down the street. We took a picnic with us each day and were quite pleased to see that you thought of everything we could possibly want for a day at the beach. Mike especially enjoyed the boogie board and snorkel gear. We used the bbqs on several occasions and really appreciated having condiments and seasonings on hand – all those little things from home.
