We enjoyed having beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and a beach blanket for our beach days. (Imagine if you had to pack all of that along with you?) The beach is just beautiful and showcases some gorgeous sunsets.
It’s very clean, organized and beautifully decorated. Everything you need is just a few steps away….coffee shops, the beach and shopping. We loved staying here and highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you Kathy and Vic for a wonderful vacation experience.

No need to buy anything but your food and bevies! Very clean and well organized as well. Kathy was extremely helpful with our planning. Would highly recommend this condo. We will be using them again!!!

The weather was excellent during our stay, its such a convenient location to the best beaches only minutes away! and you can see the ocean from the lanai! if you are lucky you may spot a whale!

The condo is everything as advertised. We really appreciated little extras such as the fan in the kitchen, an abundant supply of coffee filters, garbage bags, laundry soap, & welcome package. On some of the days when it was warmer, the tower fan was a great bonus. We have been to Maui many times & Katherine Vic’s condo is one of the good ones.

My sister and I rented separate condos with each of our families in 2012. Three years later, we returned with more family members because our experience was so fantastic! Pictures shown in this website are absolutely true to what you will experience – even more beautiful!
Very close to small shops. Picturesque beach less than 5 min walk. Owners are fair and accommodating in every way possible. Everything you could possibly need is provided in the condo.
All that is left to do is enjoy, relax, and soak up the breathtaking surroundings of Maui!

The minute I walked thru the front door, I felt so at home. The place was super clean and the only things I needed was to buy my own food if I wanted to. The whole place was relatively quiet which made it very nice for me. When I go back, and not if I go back, I will definitely see if this condo will be available for me. This is how at home I feel there.

Me and wife spent seven nights in Kihei Alii Kai and were thoroughly impressed with the value, location and quality of this property. Everything you need to live, lounge, explore and above all cook is provided in this condo. Just bring your flip flops and you’re set. The rest of the reviews accurately sum up the benefits of staying here in more detail. I’ll just add that Katherine was extremely helpful and the booking, checking in/out process was real easy. If you’re on the fence about where to stay in Kihei as we were I would recommend that you just conclude your search now and pick this one. Enjoy!

This Kihei Alii Kai condo is a little known gem located across from Kamaole One beach, considered to be one of the best beaches on Maui. The condo is a recently remodeled fully equipped one bedroom unit that has the feel of a home. The condo owners have supplied every creature comfort; hardwood cabinets, granite counter tops and back splashes in the kitchen and bathroom as well as many extras in the kitchen including spices. There is a new in-suite laundry. Much entertainment has been supplied by the owners – including books, games, puzzles, and many movie DVD’s for the large screen TVs.
There is also an amazingly well stocked beach cabinet on the “super sized” lanai. This lanai was our favourite lounging place. There are wonderful ocean views and sunsets to be seen from it. We could watch the snorkeling boats visit Molokini while sipping our morning coffee and see an occasional whale breach. Stores and restaurants are just a short walk away including our favourite ABC store. Parking is free and there are no “amenity fees”, a very nice perk. We can hardly wait until our next trip to Maui. This condo is beautifully appointed and has a lovely view of the ocean from the lanai. The beach Kamaole I is within a 4 minute walk and is a truly beautiful beach to walk, swim, and sit on the grassy part to watch the sunset. There are beach chairs and other toys available in the condo for use on the beach. There are several fun places to eat within easy walking distance. Kihei is also in a perfect location for day trips around the island! The owners couldn’t be more helpful with anything that comes up. We had a wonderful time! I enthusiastically recommend this condo.

What a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and quiet, yet walking distance to everything. The unit itself was tastefully and comfortably decorated. The owners did not skimp on quality. A genuine home away from home, from the large king bed to the big screen TV, including an impressive collection of dvds. Quality appliances and a large beautiful balcony with a view. Very private with lots of extra amenities such as beach chairs and umbrellas, towels, even a cooler. A lot of tourist information, books, suggestions, etc… In the many places we’ve stayed throughout the years this was far the best! We both highly recommend this unit.

Yes, what we experienced surpassed the VRBO pics & description. Additionally, Ppty Mgrs Todd & Cheryl were professional, warm & helpful, they do a fabulous job maintaining the ppty & amenities. Owner Kathy was prompt, helpful and responsive to all communications. We would highly recommend the property for being quiet & convenient. What we enjoyed: @ Kamaole Beaches I, II & II walks, families playing in the surf, relaxing in shade of the trees in the park by the Kam I, paddleboarding (early), FOOD: Maui Flatbread Co for great pizza & fun ambiance @ Paia, a run to Costco for loading up on month’s worth of drygoods/groc, Hawaiian Moon Health Food Grocer 1 blk away, Wed/Sat Farmers Market (5 min bus ride), wonderful juice bar by beach walkway near Wailea, Longhi’s Bar for lunch, within walking distance … Fred’s for fun/relaxed cocktail hour with many photoshop pics to amuse, 808 Restaurant for breakfast, TRANSPORT: Kihei Car Rental, Kihei Taxi (Mark), convenient public transit stops. FUN: whale watching @ it’s prime (daily playful displays), World Whale Day Parade & Festival @ Kalama Park (with many vendor/artisan booths & music)! Had some quiet days reading by the pool and the BBQ’s were immaculate. WHAT A FABULOUS VACATION!!

These owners have thought of everything to make your vacation easy, fun, relaxing and memorable. They have made all the amenities easy to find, the cupboards well stocked, and the furnishings comfortable and easy-care. Things for the beach were top notch, and the beach a short walk from the Condo. The grounds were well kept, the sunsets from the lanai astonishing. It’s the kind of place where staying home and relaxing is a pleasure.

This condo was a great find for our first time to Maui. We will be looking for this same unit when we return. The owners take great care to ensure their guests are well taken care of. The condo was so well equipped we found new surprises practically daily. You will not be left looking for something if you stay here. The owner was able to answer any questions and all communication was prompt. The building and grounds are well maintained and it’s a very short walk to beautiful beaches, food, shopping and fun.
Maui Tacos is a must have! For an amazing meal don’t leave without trying Monkey Pod. The best Mai Tai’s ever and excellent dining. (Make a res)

We arrived in Maui only to discover a well appointed condo that had everything we needed. Not only did the condo have everything, it was also perfectly situated by beaches and hiking areas; it was a great launching point to explore the beauty of Maui. As you walk in the view is what we first noticed and is wonderful. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed all the many small touches that make a stay memorable. The condo is clean, well kept, and they only ask that you leave it in the same condition as you found it. They have paid attention to detail and directions are clear. The internet is secured and that was a big plus for us. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We are no strangers to Kihei Alii Kai, having enjoyed the property probably over a dozen times. It is close to the beach and all amenities, but set back a short block enough to make it very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed Vic and Kathy’s unit the last 2 years and like all the other contributors here we found the unit supremely well organized and of course clean. Well done Vic and Kathy. You can be very proud of this unit.

We had a fantastic holiday based at Kathy and Vic’s condo in Kihei! Kathy was a joy to deal with, start to finish, and the condo was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed to make our vacation easy and enjoyable. The premises were in excellent condition when we arrived, and we made sure it was in as good a condition when we completed this, one of our many holidays on this Island. We are frequent visitors to this vacation paradise and were married on the beach years ago near the Grand Wailea Resort not far from the “Bernard’s” condo. This visit was especially dear to us because this time we spent Christmas and New Years on the Island and were within safe distance from the condo after celebrating these two special events. Kathy & Vic, we thank you for the privilege of renting your immaculate condo, and we highly recommend it to others.

I have stayed at this complex a few times now and this condo was definitely one of the more clean, updated and well organized and well stocked that I have encountered. There were more than enough toiletries for our entire visit we did not need to buy anything and there was a lovely welcome basket when we arrived after a very long day of travel. A great place!

I stayed in this condo from Jan 4 to 11, 2012. It was spotless, well organized and had everything I needed and more. I enjoyed the CD’s and DVD’s, also the information on sightseeing and restaurants. Good spot with a pool and a short stroll from the beach. Very clean with all the amenities. Within walking distance to many shopping spots and easy to pick anything up in a pinch no vehicle required. Will most defiantly come back as our stay was quite enjoyable!

We came to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful stay in Maui! It was a great condo, so comfortable and what a breathtaking view. We were very close to the best beaches and awesome eateries all around! Definitely have to check out La Taquera Cruz for their tacos! All in all it was the perfect stay, home away from home, we will be back to celebrate every birthday from now on and hopefully we can squeeze in a few more stays in between.

My husband and I stayed at this location for two glorious weeks at the end of November. The condo was immaculate and very well cared for. The upgrades done to the kitchen and front room were fabulous. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a wide selection of dishes for inside the condo as well as outside. A huge selection of acrylic ware is essential, which this condo has.
The fridge was well stocked with staples such as mayo, ketchup and mustard as well as a variety of spices, jam and peanut butter. The barbeque sites were great with new gas bbq’s. As well as a great stocked kitchen, the owners have certainly taken their time to include a large amount of reference materials pertaining to the island of Maui. We especially enjoyed the book Maui Revealed. I think we covered the whole island in all of its splendour. Thanks again for a wonderful place. We have and will continue to recommend this property to our friends and relatives

We spent a week in May 2011 and had a very enjoyable vacation. The condo was very clean and furnished in a comfortable and welcoming motif. We had everything that we needed for our stay and good directions where to find what we required. The photos, descriptions and directions matched what we found when we arrived. It was a very short walk to the beach and restaurants and stores were close by. We would recommend this condo to our friends and will return when time permits.

Stayed a week in Kihei, Maui at this rental. It was a great place, very clean and centrally located. Just steps away from many beaches. Nice and private and excellently appointed for a fair price. Would definitely rent from them again!
